Investments in capital assets

In 2016, the amount of investments in capital assets amounted to 128.0 billion rubles or 103.6% to the level of the previous year.

In January-December 2016 the bulk of investments accounted for the acquisition of machinery, equipment and vehicles (36.4%). 31.3% of capital investments were used for the construction and reconstruction of buildings (except for residential buildings) and structures.

The main source of financing investments in capital assets in January-December 2016 were the own funds of organizations (60.4%).

At the expense of attracted funds, 39.6% of investments in capital assets were formed.

Funds of budgets of all levels in January-December 2016 amounted to 8.5% of the total investment in capital assets.

The share of funds from the federal budget constituted 2.9%. The share of funds from the regional budget constituted 4.6%. The share of local budgets as a source of investment financing in capital assets constituted 1.0%.

The share of the banking sector the in investment costs constituted 20.0%.

Structure of investment in capital assets by types of economic activity.

The main amount of investment in capital assets in January-December 2016 was used for the development of the following economic activities: food production, including beverages, and tobacco (15.0%); metallurgical production and production of finished metal products (15.5%); agriculture (20.0%); transactions with real estate, rent and provision of services (9.8%); production and distribution of electricity, gas and water (11.0%); transport and communications (10.5%). The total amount allocated by types of economic activity constituted 74.6 billion rubles.

2013

In 2013, the foreign investments in the region from foreign countries constituted 1063.1 million US dollars, which is 33% less than in 2012.

The direct foreign investment amounted to 107.7 million US dollars, which is 3.9 times more than in 2012. The investments sent abroad from the region in 2013 amounted to 552.9 million US dollars, which is 69.8 times more than in 2012. The economy of the Lipetsk region received the investments from 35 countries.
